About Superstition High School

Superstition High School is a Success school within Mesa Public Schools.  We accept students who reside east of Gilbert road within the Mesa district.  They are referred from Superintendency grades 7-12.

Superstition is a smaller campus that provides a more personalized education while maintaining the educational standards provided by Mesa Public Schools.  There are approximately 70-120 students in attendance with average classroom attendance of 12-20 students per class.  The smaller class size provides for  more individualized attention thus improving the success rate of those who struggle on a larger campus.

Our Mission

Superstition High School is dedicated to serving students who require an alternative educational setting to succeed. We support students who have faced challenges such as academic struggles, credit deficiencies, behavioral barriers, adjudication, or personal responsibilities as caregivers. Our individualized, cross-curricular approach integrates transition planning, career readiness, and life skills development to help students overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. Through small class sizes, flexible scheduling, and personalized support, we create a pathway for students to earn their high school diploma and successfully transition into college, career, or independent living. At Superstition High School, we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to redefine their future.
